Coronavirus Prevention and Control Policy
Visiting the Salon
For your safety and to maintain social distancing we request that you attend your appointments as close to the appointment time as possible. Please do arrive early as this will mean that you will be asked to wait outside the salon to prevent a clash with other clients leaving.
The appointment schedule will be such that it will enable your therapist thoroughly clean.
Please note we will not be permitting extra guests into the salon and we ask that you please try to not bring your child with you to your appointment according to the Government guidelines.
We have increased the frequency of cleaning ensuring that common surfaces, restroom, and door handles are cleaned using disinfectant after each client as well as nail desks and treatment rooms.
All tools are disinfected and where we where we can, we will use disposable equipment which then will be disposed of safely after use to protect you from cross infection.
You will be asked on arrival to wash your hands with anti-bacterial hand wash.
Hand sanitiser will be available when leaving the salon.
We will understand and not be offended if you wish to wear a facemask, if you are wearing gloves on entry to the salon you will be asked to dispose of them to avoid any cross contamination. Disposable gloves and masks will be available in the salon.
We will be using personal protective equipment during your visit and during your treatment. This will include disposable gloves/facemasks and/or face shields and aprons.
We can confirm that the salon towels and our uniforms are priority, we can assure you that all salon laundry is washed daily. Disposable couch roll covering will be on all beauty treatment couches.
All disposable items will be bagged and safely removed from the treatment area after each treatment.
Appointments
If you or any of the people you live with feel ill or display any symptoms of COVlD-19 please advise us as soon as possible and DO NOT COME TO THE SALON FOR YOUR APPOINTMENT.
Our Team
If any of our team feel ill or have symptoms of COVlD-19, they will self-isolate immediately and stay at home. This may mean that we may cancel your appointment at short notice, and we appreciate that this may be inconvenient. If your appointment is cancelled, we will try to reschedule with another therapist.
Cancellation Policy
Please contact us 48hrs before your appointment if you need to cancel.
We will not charge the usual 50% late cancellation fee if notice is given. Clients who do not show for their appointment and do not contact us beforehand will still be charged 50% of their treatment cost.
Treatments
Protective screens are set up on the nail desks and reception.
We have installed these to help with keeping our social distancing to control the spread of Coronavirus. Limited contact will still be made between therapist and client.
We will make sure we have as much protection for our clients as well as our staff. The most effective way is regular handwashing and cleaning of all surfaces.
We will control the number of staff and clients in the salon at any one time. Treatment rooms are all single occupancy.
Risk assessment on all treatments have and will continue to be assessed and we are confident that we can continue to provide these safely. We have decided that the following treatments cannot be provided until further notice.
All Massage Treatments will not be performed due to the uncomfortable feeling of gloves to the skin, and the exposure of the body.
We understand the importance of hand hygiene and prior to Covid-19 we will continue ensure that we wash our hands in according with NHS recommendations before the start of any treatment.
In accordance with NHS recommendations, we will continue to maintain hand hygiene before and after treatments which was in place prior to Covid-19.
After Treatment and leaving the salon
We will only be accepting Card Payments.
Vouchers will be accepted. Any expired vouchers will be at the managers discretion due to Covid-19.
All these procedures have been implemented for your safety and our team.
We will continue to take advice from the Government and the NHS regarding safe practice and will amend, as necessary.
Thank you for your understanding.
